Hammerhead Barrels |
|
I got my Hammerhead Barrels at D-Day 2006 based on Travis and Jarod's recommendation. I used then on Utah with phenomomal accuracy. And again in the valley, I was shooting up hill thru trees and hitting Germans.
Since then I have only played once with a barrel other than the Hammerhead. This year at D-Day I was in a hurry to chrono and the Hammerhead kit was buried in my pickup, so I used the first barrel I could find. If I had found the kit in time to chrono, I would have gone a year without using any of my other barrels.
Anytime you see me on the field, check out what barrel is on my gun. The only possible exception is for my Pimp, I don't have Impulse threaded Fins, yet. I'll be buying those next month.

Be nice Panzer, he was my radioman. He was almost able to stay with me all day long.
Oh and he will be shot at Agate, by me during our pistol match.
Oh and Jim, my Tac-8 now has a Hammerhead on it.

1. Panzer, I am usually ahead of you on the field. At Yalu River Revenge, I have photos of you holding my gun while I ran forward to retrieve a prop. At Kelly's Caper, was I not the one that got behind the enemy base twice, shot Ducky, AND TB, AND Cabl, while you were back at the base. At DD'06 didn't I let you shoot my Timmy as I was heading back to the Dead Zone on Utah? I was in the middle of the fight trying to get our guys moving while you stood at the rear and directed tanks. So USUALLY I am much closer to the fight than you are. It seems that I am drawn to the 'sound of the muskets' much like a moth is drawn to a light. The reason NO GERMAN Sniper ever got me in 7 years as a General at D-Day is because I was always too far forward. Wanna find me, go to where the fire is heaviest.
2. Eric, I was more than a Radioman, while you were dead, I led the 101st long enough to get the Division to the area between the Dead Box and Caan, and held them there until you respawned, only THEN I did I leave the field for food and water. So for at least 30 minutes I was de facto the Division CO.
3. Eric, I've known about the Hammerhead barrels for the Tiberius 8 for about 2 weeks now. I don't have one yet, but I have already heard the field reports on them (and they are impressive).
4. The Hammerhead Barrel will not help you a bit. The Pistol Challenge is a quick draw event at 15 yards, you'll be wearing paint before you ever clear the holster or I'll be a belly dancer for the Awards Ceremony.

That can be arranged. I dare not ever WATCH it, but I'm sure it can be arranged.

In your wildest dreams!!! JR, you scare me. How does your mind work???? Perhaps I should loan Psycho my SitRepRed issued undies and let him treat you to a table dance. AHHH Make that a lap dance, not many table's would work and a lap dance would be OH SO much more personal.
