How many players remember the Pistol Challenges wehad at the Stillers or at Earthender? The pistols we used at those games were such a pain that I had planned on doing away with the pistol challenge. Fledgling would buy 5 pistols, and maybe 3 would work, buy 3 and one would work, etc...

Then we changed to the Tiberius 8. This last challenge went very smooth. Tiberius backs their products in a way that impressed me.

When Dave and I had our duel, I had not played with a Tiberius 8 (although I have shot them at the chrono range). Our duel had to be one of the fastest on record. I've shot IDPA, man against man, and Bowling Pin matches, and I think my times would have been about the same as with my tricked out Gold Cup. The Tiberius 8 was fast, and hitting Dave with 2 out of 3 (and him hitting me 2 out of 3) convinced me that the Tiberius 8 is head and shoulders above any other pistol in paintball.

We open the pistol challenge to the first 32 Registered players that sign up for the Challenge on Friday evening before any of our games. It is a quick draw format. Strap on the holster and the Tiberius 8 is loaded with only 3 paintballs. At the air horn, draw and fire. It is single elimination and when we get down to the last man standing, that players wins a Tiberius 8. Ghadfather won the pistol at Battleground: Time.

We are very appreciative of the people at Tiberius. We started doing the Pistol Challenge without any support, and when Tiberius heard about it, they jumped onboard to support us. At BG:T, I did not even have to chrono the pistols, I loaded them, threw 8 across the chrono from each gun, and headed to the Challenge. It is a wonderful thing when all goes as it should.
