The colonist was doing their best to escape the wrath of Ra. They stole his new project, known as Ship, and they were out to find they true home world.  Knowing it would take years, they were all in cryogenic sleep when a small pebble moving at near light speed tore a small hole thru Ship.  Ship was unable to repair itself, and it wanted the humans awake so they could WorShip the mighty Ship, but this was not to be. 

Ship woke the humans, and they came to be aware that Ships air was not going to last.  A planet, somewhat Earthlike was a mere 700,000 kilometers away, and after two weeks Ship managed to go into a low orbit so the colonist could use the shuttle and leave Ship alone to circle the colonist new home.   

The one artifact that the colonist had with them was a large circular object that several of the colonist had seen Ra use as a transport.  However, none of the colonist knew how this device operated.   

When the leader of the Colonist, Gensi, had everything and everyone off, he bade his farewells to Ship and directed Ship to go find the people’s real home and tell the them of their kind what happened and where the colonist were.  In maybe 200 years a rescue mission might come for the survivors. 

This is how the first colony, and a Stargate, landed on Genesis Prime.

The Bird of Prey was hit hard.  First there was a running battle dodging a couple Starfleet Starships, and then came the mine.  Now, unable to cloak and with shields down to 20%, and power failing, the stricken ship was nearing its end. 

On the bridge, Koobly Kahn was scanning surrounding space.  They needed to get off the doomed spaceship, but first, they had to elude their pursuers. 

“Set us a course that will take us near that Black Hole, stay far enough out that we don’t get sucked in, and we’ll use it’s gravity to slingshot us out of this quadrant and away from the Federation.” 

“Sir, I don’t think the ship can take that structurally.”  It was the Engineering officer, a pretty but ruthless Romulan woman. 

The Bird of Prey was crewed by a mixed lot.  The core if the group were survivors from Kahn’s band that lost most of their number when the Genesis Device reduced them to atoms to form the new planet, Genesis Prime.  Their small numbers grew when they were joined by a renegade band of Klingons.  After a short duel, in which the Klingon leader had to submit to Kahn, the Horde grew in numbers. 

Then came the Bird of Prey.  The ship the Horde was using was not well armed, and was slow.  The first Klingons beamed over and boarded the Bird of Prey, and the Horde had a new, well armed Romulan Bird of Prey to use.  

About half of the Romulan crew survived the battle, and they were given the choice of joining the Horde, or going out the airlock.  The Horde was now up to over 200 prime fighting beings, a mix of Mongols, Klingons, Romulans, and human renegades from Starfleet. 

The three Borg that were cut off from the hive, and the Horde medicos took out most of their circuitry, made the Horde as complete, until the battle with 2 Starships, and then the mine. 

Going into the gravity well of the Black Hole, time slowed and vision distorted, and when vision returned, Kahn cursed.  There in the view screen was Genesis Prime! 

“Captain, er, Kahn, I think we jumped into an alternate universe when we did the maneuver near the Black Hole.” 

“It does not matter, this ship is finished.  Send down a transporter first, and then we shall set the self destruct charges and abandon ship.”

That is how the second colonist arrived on Genesis Prime.

    “Colonel Sanders, I want at least eight teams ready to go in 2 hours.  I will be joining you; this is too big for me to remain behind.” General Hamfisted told the leader of SG-5.  “Assemble the teams, we have to get out there and find out what is happening.”

There HAD been a Stargate at that location once, but something happened and there was not a Stargate there when the scientist under Sheyenne Mountain tried before.  Now strange energy reading and unusual activity, along with the Stargate being able to find the address now, is what made General Hamfisted decide to act.

Two hours later, 8 SG teams, fully armed, strode into the shimmering emptiness and stepped out on to the surface of Genesis Prime.

Was it fate that brought these three groups together for a fight to the death?  Surely with nowhere else to go, and in a win or die confrontation, and no one about to back down, Genesis Prime is going to have its first, and last, World War.

It was not fate, it was Fledgling Scenarios, and there is a place for you on Genesis Prime.  The Stargate, the Transporter, and a lot of friends and a lot of enemies await.
